…And When The Dust Has Settled

What post-Covid-19 behaviours can we expect from Gen Y / Z?

Hi again. For most introverted creatives, being stuck in isolation is actually the dream — we have all the time in the world (outside work), few distractions, none of the mandem hollering at me to come out on Friday night, no spending £100 on a date that I know will go no further, my mum can’t send me to the Nigerian Embassy to pick up her passport for her, no trips to buy stockfish from Dalston market… the list continues. So, with all this, I should be able to churn out articles like never before. Except my lazy ass has binged Ozark and slept more this last month than I had in the rest of 2020. Also, I may have put on a kilo, or 2… or 6, but who’s counting?!

List of words I will attempt to avoid in this article: unprecedented, scary, unchartered, chaos.

Oh I hate shopping so much. Source Here

I think it’s safe to say that Covid-19 has run riot and has had a huge impact on our healthcare systems, our employers and our working situations alike, and of course, on the economy at large. This is not necessarily an article to talk about how sh*t Coronavirus is, but more so what can happen after for Gen Y & Z? There are a plethora of things to consider when thinking about the aftermath of this all, I am no economist but I have had several sessions on the toilet seat thinking about this…
